"To Darwinists, fully naturalistic evolution is a fact to be learned, not an opinion to be questioned."

This quote taken from his book Darwin on Trial (page 154), encapsulates what Phillip Johnson points out in this video, that Darwinism is fallacious both in its philosophical and scientific tenets. It is not a testable scientific theory (therefore not verifiable or falsifiable), and philosophically it eliminates viable options (primarily that something or someone from outside the system could have caused everything) from consideration.

The video is of an actual lecture and its ensuing question and answer period; thus there is no beautiful scenery, graphs or animal photos, but the content is captivating in that approaching evolution from its religiosity is not the normal way to its soft underbelly. Usually its fallacies are argued from an evidential standpoint, rather than a presuppositional one. This is not to say that any and all discussion of scientific fact, interpretation or probability is avoided; on the contrary, they are used repeatedly to show the complete fallaciousness of the system.

Yes, evolution is a system. It is a world view.
"... all aspects of reality are subject to evolution ... it is a single process ... a thought ... a belief ... " Julian Huxley; 1959, Centennial Gathering of Darwinists: CONQUEST

It is a thought ... a belief. It is a religion. A religion that needs but cannot allow room for a supernatural being. Thus religion, just as biological life, has evolved and continues to evolve on its own.

To show the audience how Darwinists are able to convince so many, Mr. Johnson takes a look at the various key words they use, what it appears they are saying, and what they actually mean by them. What at first appears logical and harmless, is quickly exposed as untrue and dangerous. Mr. Johnson warns us of being impressed by scientific technology and thus fail to use our "critical intelligence" to discriminate between what is verified, scientific fact and what is philosophy ... what is belief.

The question and answer period is lively and covers a broad spectrum of matters that relate to this subject. This, along with the well prepared lecture, makes for a video worth the hour and a half viewing time.
