Michael Oard will present The Ice Age: Only the Bible Can Explain It! The Ice Age is a major mystery and the evidence indicates that it occurred after the Flood. A global Flood must have caused a climate change that resulted in an Ice Age of about 700 years long. The existence of big lakes in now dry areas of the Earth and the mass extinction of animals at the end of the Ice Age will be discussed at the Second Presbyterian Church, 105 River Street in Greenville at 7:00 pm. With his expertise, Mike will also be able to answer your questions on global warming. Please plan to attend and bring a friend.
Michael Oard earned B.S. and M.S. degrees in Atmospheric Science and retired after 30 years as a professional meteorologist with the National Weather Service. He has published research articles in Journals of the American Meteorological Association. Mike has published over 100 articles in creationist technical and layman periodicals. Mr. Oard has also authored, co-authored, or been editor of thirteen creationist books on the Flood, the Ice Age, weather, and geology. He is on the Board of Directors for the Creation Research Society. On April 23, Mr. Oard will present "Is Man the Cause of Global Warming?" at the Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary at 1:00 pm in Taylors.

Does the Message of the Grand Canyon Support God's Word?

Tom Vail will demonstrate how one’s beginning assumptions will give a different view of the origins and story of the Grand Canyon. He will show, with stunning photography and compelling commentary from leading creationist researchers and theologians, that this massive gully washer was no accident. Indeed, the hand of God carved it, and it has a message important for us today.
Tom has been rafting the Colorado River for over 30 years. He has worked as a guide for the National Park Service and has been a member of the Grand Canyon River Guides Board. Tom is the author of The GRAND CANYON; a Different View, and lead writer for the first book, Your Guide to the Grand Canyon, of the True North Series of Biblically-based guide books on the National Parks. He and his wife currently operate Canyon Ministries, offering Christ-centered rafting trips thru the canyon.
